Lesson of My Week

ImageI watched Beast of the Southern Wild earlier this week. The film centers around a young girl and her father living on an island off the coast of Louisiana  Because of the polar ice caps melting the waters are rising higher and higher every time a storm hits their little island which puts them at risk for…what’s an easy way of saying this…um DROWNING!

The film is beautifully shot and full of emotional thunder. The films teaches us that every little thing is connected  The connection between the polar ice caps effecting this little girl and father shows us how we are all apart of something greater, everything would be different if we did not exist, this is an irrefutable fact that no person can deny. Sorry.

I was apart of that huge moment no matter how “small” my role was in the series. I was apart of something greater and bigger than myself.
