Welcome To Ghana: CAPE COAST CASTLE

Hi Beloveds!

Welcome to another episode fro my Welcome To Ghana Series. In this episode I head with my family to Cape Coast Castle which was a major slave port during the Atlantic Slave Trade. Millions of men and women were stolen from their towns + villages, forced to stay in these inhumane conditions, then shipped off to places like Brazil, the Carolinas, West Indies and so on never to be seen again. When in Ghana you don’t feel the impact of slavery like we do here in America but you absolutely feel the impact of colonialism within the culture. As you watch this video please understand that this was a real thing that happened. It is Ghanaian History, It is Black History, It is Human History.
